La Cumbre Plaza is a success story of turning an outdated, typical 60s style outdoor mall into a sucessful shopping district that competes with traditional high street downtown shopping. The Plaza became a self renewing environment that will remain attractive for many years to come. All this was accomplished with only a minor capital outlay on part of the landlord.
This process is also described more extensively in ‘From Malls to Mainstreet’ under the ‘Media’ Section of this site.
Gerhard W. Mayer was the lead architect on this project.
